[LA] President Barack Obama in West Hollywood
After a few sleepless nights in Las Vegas, I caught a 6:45AM first class flight back to Los Angeles for a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the President of the United States aka Mr. Barack Obama, speak at House of Blues Sunset. It was a fundraiser event for his upcoming 2012 campaign, which included performances by the Gay Men’s Chorus of West Hollywood, Grammy award winning rapper B.O.B., and the master of ceremonies, Jesse Tyler Ferguson from the hit show Modern Family.
The President addressed important issues plaguing our nation; as well as acknowledge the progress and change that has occurred in the past three years he’s been in the White House. I will admit I’m not exactly up-to-date on political current events, but it was just truly amazing to be in the presence of our acting Commander in Chief. He truly is an unbelievable and charismatic speaker. I am so thankful I got the chance to attend. Thank you Darrell for the invite!
